Homework and Tutoring

HomeworkAdolescents enrolled in the Youth Challenge Program spend one hour each day completing homework assignments and/or working with a volunteer tutor assigned to help him or her improve specific academic skills.

The Wellspring Homework and Tutoring classroom is equipped with computers and Internet access to make available the tools students need to complete homework assignments. Our Homework/Tutoring Program Coordinator works with area schools to determine the tutoring needs of each youth.

An alternative school is available during the day for youth who are struggling in the current school setting. Thus, youth will receive school credits while receiving individualized academic and behavior attention.
